want to know my new favorite sweet treat?
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups rice krispies or other cereal
heat peanut butter and honey over the stove until melted together, then remove from heat. add vanilla, then cereal, and press into a 9x9 buttered pan. let cool or eat warm for a delicious sugar-free treat.
i pressed these into some easter eggs for my son to enjoy on easter, and it was by far his favorite thing of the day. i think i've found our first easter tradition, they were so cute and gave him something special and sweet to eat without filling him with sugar, i plan to make them every year!
and he's not the only one crazy for these, i love them so much that i would eat these over the traditional marshmallow and butter rice krispies treats any day!
